Dear Ms Murray
I have heard from Sarah Maynard (Tonbridge School) how much she enjoyed your admissions workshop recently and I would be very interested in attending one of your courses in March.
I would be very grateful if you could send me further details of these.
Frances Messent - Admissions – Harrow School
I enjoyed Friday very much. I am sure I can instill some of the ideas into the rest of the SMT!
Above all it was nice to discuss common issues with a range of other schools.
Paul Green - Epsom College
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and taking part in the day.
It was a great help to listen to you and to everyone else, and I have certainly come away with useful tips but also relief in the knowledge that we are actually getting quite a large part of the process right!
I will be giving a debrief to the HM at some stage after half term and if appropriate, I will be in touch to perhaps ask you down to do your bit here!
Isabel Lougee - King Edwards School – Witley
Good Morning Jules
Thank you very much for your lovely email! I thoroughly enjoyed the day and always feel that if you pay for this type of experience you must give 100% or why else be there!!! It was a very useful day for me to see how other school organise things especially with the way finances etc are at the moment. Thank you for making it a very worthwhile experience and I would be very happy to recommend your course to anyone I meet!
Again, thank you for a wonderful day,
Many thanks and my sincere best wishes for the future!
Sara Russell - Charterhouse
I enjoyed the workshop and thought it very useful to have a fresh look at the way we do things. It was very helpful to have the opportunity to share best practice and get new ideas for Open days and parents' visits etc. I have been asked to write a report on it for the Headteacher here and Rector of the Senior School and I will let them know that you also offer onsite training.
Many thanks and good luck with the rest of your workshops.
Jackie Murray – Edinburgh Academy
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for delivering such an excellent workshop yesterday. I thought some of the group activities were very useful such as the 30 second elevator pitch, the use of positive language and brainstorming of ideas for the open day. I certainly came away with a few new ideas to try out!
I was also reminded that first impressions are important and that your attitude and rapport is key to providing parents with a good first impression of the school. I enjoyed the fun activities such as selling the 'colours' and counting to ten in Japanese!
I met a lovely group of people and think that the fact that the workshop numbers are no more than twelve helps the group to have more in-depth discussions and be more open. I would definitely recommend this course to others and I felt that I got a lot out of it personally as it was all so relevant and that everyone was on the same wavelength. I think I will always try and remember to smile on the phone from now on :-)
Debbie Simmons - Marketing Officer - Palmers Green High School
Many thanks for a really fun and useful day. Lots of new ideas and cementing of current things in place too.
Good luck with the next ones

Thank you so much for running the workshop yesterday. We both really enjoyed it and it has given us a great deal to think about. We have passed on your details to our bursar and have suggested offering in-school workshops for both academic and ancillary staff.
Please do keep us informed if you are running any workshops in future.

'School – Making a Performance of it': This workshop, led by Jules Murray, was rare for its excellence, its relevance and most of all for the fact that an environment was created in which the participants could genuinely learn and openly share good practice and the many challenges that we face daily in our work in recruitment and admissions. I had to tear myself away. I learnt so much and found the whole experience energizing and inspiring. Jules is a true facilitator and an excellent communicator.

Not what I was expecting as courses go! From the moment of arrival and facing what is usually a very awkward time, Jules managed us brilliantly, immediately we were at ease and from there plain sailing!
We all gained from each other and picked up some very useful ideas and strategies, Jules guided and I felt the whole day was an invaluable experience, would repeat as well as enrol with anything Spider on the Wall were doing! Hugely refreshing and up to date.
